Tom Völker, a doctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 September to 30 November 2026. His research focuses on language model architectures, their inherent limitations, and the use of language models for studying semantic change.

Julia Wunderle, a doctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 August to 31 October 2026. Her research interests include advancing the (German) NLP landscape by training encoder and decoder models from scratch and adapting them efficiently to specific domains.

Eduardo Calò, a doctoral researcher at Utrecht University, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 February to 31 May 2026. Eduardo is currently studying the evolution of synonyms using contextualized word embeddings, and as an intern with Change is Key!

Maria Cassese, a doctoral researcher at the University of Pisa, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 February to 30 April 2026. Maria works on applications of LLMs to diachronic analysis of large corpora, and as an intern with Change is Key!

Simon De Deyne is a cognitive scientist working at the Computational Cognitive Science Lab and the Complex Human Data Hub at the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne.

Computer scientist Lucia Siciliani is an assistant professor at the University of Bari whose research interests span NLP, information retrieval, and semantic web. She is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 September to 30 November 2025.

Naomi Baes, a doctoral researcher at the University of Melbourne, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 4 August to 30 September 2025. Naomi works on applications of NLP to psychology, and as an intern with Change is Key!
