Internships

The Change is Key! Programme (https://changeiskey.org/) and the Towards Computational Lexical Semantic Change Detection project (https://languagechange.org/) are offering up to three internships for PhD students and postdocs working on computational models for semantic change.

Internship dates: between 2022/10/01 until 2023/06/30
Duration: between 3 and 6 months
Location: University of Gothenburg (Sweden) or Queen Mary University London (UK) or IMS Stuttgart (Germany)
These are unpaid internships. Travel and accommodation are provided by the host universities

Application procedure:

Interested students should send a full CV and a description of their research to info@<!remove>changeiskey.org. Additional required information are: a destination preference, a duration preference, and a start date preference. Internships will take place on site, successful applicants will be provided with accommodation and travel. Visa application fees, if necessary, could be refunded.

We reserve the right to select between 0 and 3 interns.

Application deadline : July 15 th
Decision : mid-August

About the internships:

Successful applicants must be willing to take an integral part in the Change Is Key! Programme, and/or the Towards Computational Lexical Semantic Change Detection project and must be willing to work on data in Swedish, German, and English.

Funding:
These internships will take place under the umbrella of Change is Key! and the Swedish Research Council (VR) project ”Towards Computational Lexical Semantic Change Detection” under project number 2018-01184.
