Tom Völker is visiting us

Tom Völker, a doctoral researcher at the University of Würzburg, is visiting us in Gothenburg from 1 September to 30 November 2026. His research focuses on language model architectures, their inherent limitations, and the use of language models for studying semantic change. As part of the SILD project, he will also study how language models can support research on semantic change in low-resource domains. As an intern with Change is Key! he will collaborate with the team on meaning modeling on a range of NLP tasks.
